Editorial Reviews From School Library Journal Grade 2-4-simplistic This work aims to introduce students to specific habitats and animal and plant species living there answers to elements of language third course. The texts are almost identical, only the names of animals and figures distinguish the areas examined answers to elements of language third course. Tables of contents are virtually interchangeable and themes are weather, food, warmth and home. In the desert, an additional chapter, "Night Life", it says that coyotes can smell the dark. The indices are near useless, and some of the words in the text in bold for no apparent reason. The illustrations, color photos, drawings, are quite good, but there are no maps showing the locations discussed.
